Joomla 3.0 brings with it an new admin user interface. The new interface will be powered by Twitter's Bootstrap CSS and JavaScript framework. Not only does it make life easier for designers and programmers, it also brings the following benefits for everyone:
- Responsive design - control your Joomla site with your smart phone, iPad, or computer. The admin UI adjusts to the device you're using.
- Consistent markup - component developers are able to reuse markup and styles,making add-in extensions easier to learn.
- Overrideable styles - with consistent CSS class names in place, overriding styles with your own is a snap.
Our own Kyle Ledbetter will be leading this session as Joomla 3.0 heads into the beta phase. Come with your laptops, phones, and tablets to help test the new user interface: your feedback will help make Joomla better!
