Joomla! User Group New England usually meets the third Wednesday of every month from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at the Marlboro College Graduate School (directions). All interested Joomla! developers are welcome to attend.
Our next meeting will be held on June 20, 2012, at 5:30 PM.
One of the most visible changes to Joomla 3.x will be changes to templates, both frontend and backend. The actual way you create templates will not change, but Joomla will be using Bootstrap with jQuery for the UI elements.
The presentation for the June meeting will be an introduction to Bootstrap, what it is, what it can do, and how it will affect templates in Joomla.
