JoomlaDay Melbourne 2013 (JDM2013) will be the major Australian conference for summer 2012/2013 with plenty of experts (both Australian and international) attending.

With just 6 weeks to go to JoomlaDay Melbourne 2013, to be held on January 19 and 20 2013, is fast shaping up to be the biggest Joomla event seen in Australia to date.

Joomla luminary Brian Teeman is attending as our international keynote speaker, and will be sharing his insights on a number of topics, including Joomla 3.0, with several hundred Joomla enthusiasts at Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn. Creator of the popular NoNumber Extensions, Peter van Westen, is also coming in to share his experiences in Joomla component development, as well as creative ways to use his extensions, during a packed two days of conference.

Sandwiching the weekend, we have also got 9 full and half day workshops from 6 presenters over 3 days on a number of Joomla topics, including Joomla basics, SEO, template design, and some component specific sessions. (Workshops are at additional cost to the conference weekend).

Couple 5 days of Joomla events with everything else Melbourne has to offer in January - fantastic food, great weather, and the Australian Open Tennis - and coming to Melbourne for for a conference, workshops and a holiday might not be a bad way to kick off 2013!
